FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – “It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce country music artist Chris Janson as our headlining act for this year’s 16th annual Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell,” said Traci Cunningham, executive director of Oak Grove Tourism & Convention Commission.
Janson will take the stage at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center in Oak Grove on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 7 p.m. Janson, proud member of the Grand Ole Opry and multi-platinum songwriter and artist, is part of country’s new breed. In touch with the lighter side of life with self-penned No. 1s “Fix A Drink,” “Good Vibes,” and the triple platinum “Buy Me A Boat,” as well as the more thoughtful truths of “Done,” “Things You Can’t Live Without,” and the CMA Song of the Year nominee and ACM Video of the Year “Drunk Girl.”
Saturday will feature a 6-man parachute jump show before the concert. Afterwards, there will be a firework show that will close out Saturday night’s festival. The Spring into Summer Festival will take place May 27-28. The popular bubble zone attraction is also making its way back to the festival. As always, there will be free carnival rides with no tickets or wristbands required.
The concert, along with all other activities at the Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival is free and open to the public, and it all takes place on the grounds of the War Memorial Walking Trail Park: 101 Walter Garrett Lane, Oak Grove, Kentucky.
