Butterfly Festival

A fun & educational experience.
Ideal for creative spirits & nature lovers!

The 7th Annual Butterfly Festival will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children will be able to make environmental arts and crafts projects for free.

Come and interact with live butterflies in their habitat in our Butterfly House or let the Master Gardeners take you on a tour of our beautiful Butterfly Garden. Entertaining stage shows will be taking place on the Viceroy Stage.

All of this along with face painting, bubble zone, pony and train rides, butterfly house and arts and craft! The event will conclude with our live butterfly release of up to 1000 butterflies at 5:00 p.m. Bring the kids, your class, or Scout troop to the War Memorial Walking Trail, 101 Walter Garrett Lane, in Oak Grove, KY for a day filled with education and fun!

Saturday, September 26, 2015 ~ 11am-4pm

The only festival of its kind in the State of Kentucky, the Oak Grove Tourism Butterfly Festival is one of the most popular events in the region.  2015 will mark the seventh year for the annual festival, and word has spread quickly about this fun, free, educational event.

There is something for everyone to See, Do and LEARN!  There are free, nature focused arts and crafts for the children to create and take home.
