10th Annual Spring into Summer Festival 

Country Music Artist Tyler Farr to Headline Spring Into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell Concert in Oak Grove, KY

      It is with great pleasure and excitement that the Oak Grove Tourism Commission announces Country Music Artist Tyler Farr as the headliner for their 10th Annual Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell. Farr will take the stage at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center in Oak Grove, Saturday May 27, 2017 at 7pm. After the concert there will be a gorgeous fireworks show that will certainly be enjoyable. Farr is known for such hits as “Whiskey In My Water,” “A Guy Walks Into A Bar,” “Redneck Crazy” and most recently, “Our Town.”  Farr is also set to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl pre-game party with Lady Antebellum on February 5, 2017. The concert, along with all other activities at the Spring into Summer Festival, is free and open to the public.

     "We are so excited to have Tyler Farr for our 10th Annual International Award Winning Spring into Summer Festival," said Traci Cunningham, Executive Director of Oak Grove Tourism.  The relationship between Country Music artist and our troops and their families is a long-standing tradition and we are delighted Tyler Farr is bringing his talent and support to Oak Grove, KY. "With this being our 10th year, we really wanted to make it special. We made it bigger and better than ever before. We always try to add and change up the festival every year, and this is one of many reasons why our festivals are International and Regional award winning. Nothing else compares to Christian County’s biggest festival of the year!"

     The 10th Annual Spring into Summer Festival will take place May 27-28, 2017.  Activities will run Saturday May 27th from 12pm-9pm and Sunday May 28th from 12pm-6pm. Both days of the festival will include many new and exciting activities. There will be fifteen free carnival rides, a hilarious wild west stage show “Tumbleweed Crossing”, This laugh-a-minute show is an award winning Wild West comedy gunfight stunt show. It will take you on a zany trip back to the Wild West where laughs fly like bullets and hilarity law of the land.  You can also memorialize your visit to this year’s festival by getting free pictures at the photo booth, having a free caricature drawing done, or make a video with the ever popular Boogie Heads. Saturday will feature an extended parachute jumpers show before the concert featuring Tyler Farr, and after the concert there will be a gorgeous fireworks show that will certainly be enjoyable.

     This festival has been awarded as the one of the top three festivals in both the southeast region and worldwide. The event is free to the public and will include free carnivals, various vendors and a variety of free shows. All activities will start at 12:00 P.M. both days. This event will take place at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park at 101 Walter Garrett Lane, Oak Grove, KY 42262. Free admission, Free parking, & Free carnival rides! Vendors will be there with all the delicious carnival foods!
